Here you can enjoy a stunning view of Mauna Kea, one of the worlds tallest mountains and an inactive volcano. Look out at the gorgeous Hamakua Coast, where in the winter months it is not uncommon to see humpwhales in the bay.Your next stop is the fabulous Rainbow Falls whose 89 foot (27 meter) high cascade hides a sacred cave. Just above Rainbow Falls, you can explore a beautiful banyan tree that always leaves her guests in awe and a lagoon that has become a very popular attraction. After your visit to the statue of King Kamehameha, you'll take a stroll through the gorgeous Panaewa Rainforest Zoo, a treat in itself! No trip to Hawaii would be complete without a visit to Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory, where you'll have the opportunity to sample the island's delicacies.
