Detail Description: Your South Rim bus tour begins with a drive from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam, where you will cross to the Arizona side for a brief photo opportunity. You'll then travel through the Black Canyon, and learn about the early Spanish conquistadors, missionaries, mountain men, explorers and settlers.When you reach the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park, you'll stop at the visitor center for information on the Grand Canyon, Mather Point (the deepest part of the canyon) and Bright Angel Point (the most panoramic). Yavapai Point, the widest part of the canyon, can be reached on a short walk. Please note: there is not sufficient time to travel to the canyon floor.You'll have free time to browse Bright Angel Lodge, the hub of activities at the Grand Canyon Historic Village. From here, you are only a short walk to the Hopi House and Indian Art Museum.
