Your day will start in Hilo at the beautiful Japanese Gardens named after Queen Lili'uokalani. Here you can enjoy a stunning view of Mauna Kea, one of the world's tallest mountains and an inactive volcano. From here, you'll drive south to begin your ascent to Volcanoes National Park. On the way, you'll experience the beauty of the Big Island's plants, trees, and ferns. Once in the park, you'll visit the Sulfur Banks, the Steam Vents, the Jagger (volcano) Museum, Halema'uma'u Crater, Thurston Lava Tube and the Kilauea Iki Crater. The next stop is the Orchid garden where you'll experience the beauty of countless varieties of home grown wonders. Then to the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm where you can sample this famed delicacy in all its variety. When the factory is in operation, you can witness the complex operation through interactive viewing stations. At the discretion of our guest, the tour can make a complimentary stop at the famous Hilo Hatties, where you can get all your Aloha attire and more.
