The combination of a medium sized group (up to 40 maximum) and a separate driver and tour guide, will give you plenty of opportunity to ask questions during the day. During the ride to Napa, your guide will give you an introduction to the famous region and the wines you may taste today. Your guide will also provide 101 instruction on wine tasting. After wine tasting at V. Sattui, you can order what you like from a wide selection at the deli. There are cheese, sausage and olive plates as well as meat or vegetarian sandwiches to choose from. The return trip to San Francisco from Napa Valley is by ferry. You can go outside or stay inside the boat during the 50-minute calm water cruise across the bay catching great views of Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge, the city of San Francisco, as well as the Golden Gate Bridge.
