One of the world's biggest north gannet breeding colonies is at Eldey Island, where surf crashes against the beautiful basalt cliffs. It's a simply stunning sight!From there, you'll continue through the lava fields to the nearby fishing village of Grindavik. After a short stop by the Blue Lagoon, you'll return to Reykjavik to pick up your Gulfoss and Geysir Express half-day tour, to see Iceland's best known historical sites and natural phenomena.The afternoon tour begins with a visit to Thingvellir, a geologically unique place where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet.
