Directed by Michael Greif.Inspired by Puccini's La Boheme, this musical is an exciting "sign of the times" rock era musical, which optimistically follows a band of diverse NY East Village types...drug addicts, prostitutes, the homeless, artists, homosexuals, finding the brightness in life while living in the shadow of AIDS, as they struggle with the soaring hopes and tough realities of today's New York.
