Have you ever wondered what all those buttons, dials and switches in a cockpit are for? Or what actually makes an aircraft fly? How many times have you seen airplanes soaring in the sky and wished you could play in the clouds, too? For all those who have ever dreamed of flying, or wanted to give someone else the opportunity, you've landed at the right spot.After a pre-flight briefing during which you'll discuss the basics of what makes an airplane fly, you'll climb aboard one of the Varga VG-21s (the same aircraft used for our Top Dog Air Combat flights) for a brief cockpit orientation, and then take to the skies. No previous experience is necessary, but you probably will be able to do the first take off yourself under the watchful eye of an experienced FAA certified pilot, of course. Then learn how to maneuver the aircraft through turns, climbs, and glides, and fly the aircraft back to the airport.
